Why? Why do so many hate it?

I have written about how much I love music so I won't go into that diatribe again.
You're welcome.
What I also love that I have learned many people hate...
...Christmas music.
Okay so I really don't wonder too much as to why they hate it. A lot of it is cheesy and some radio stations REALLY overplay it. BUT! There is good stuff out there. Hear me out. I enjoy some of the cheese but I really, really, really love the good stuff that allows you remember, celebrate and worship the reason we sing, Jesus.
Just this past weekend I came across a cd version of a record album (yes, vinyl) that I had as a kid. John Denver and the Muppets, A Christmas Together. I played it in the car where my children had no choice but to listen and let me tell you...the best part was the 8 year old singing along with Miss. Piggy, "5 GOLD RINGS! BA-DA-BUMP-BUMP!"
This isn't from that album but, I mean, is it really Christmas if you don't watch Animal, Beaker and the Swedish Chef serenade you?
And don't get me started on the tears that flow when I sing,
This is Jesus Emmanuel
Here with us tell all the world
We have a Savior
We have a Savior
We are no longer lost
Cause He has come down for us
We have a Savior
We have a Savior
His love will reign forever
His love will reign forever
His love will reign forever (We Have A Saviour, Hillsong)
