What even is happening?

Ya'll.
I have heard the stories of what seems to happen to your body as you get closer to 40.

I've heard it can sort of feel like this sign.
<--------------
ANYWAYS....
I won't say I didn't believe the stories cause, I do! BUT now that I am 5 months away from my big day, I think I feel it, too.
This last year I began getting pressure headaches when storms move in. Started getting a headache about 2 hours ago and I am feeling it right now as I sit in bed a dark room with the TV on the news describing a storm that is potentially packing a tornado move my direction.
I'll save you the drama and eye roll of the other things happening but, you may be able to just brainstorm for yourself cause you've already walked this road.
But this month...well this month has given me a totally new thing.
Since the beginning of the month I have had a problem. Since August 7 I have had a rash/hive situation that makes my entire body itch to the EXTREME. I feel like I could just rip my skin off and be better. Nothing helps. Not antihistamines, not hydrocortisone cream, not Aveeno oatmeal baths. NOTHING. So I went to the doctor who told me to continue OTC antihistamines and 150mg of Zantac twice a day and he sent me for bloodwork. Yo!! I have never taken a dose of anything like Zantac before. I mean, Rolaids/Tums while you are pregnant don't count, right? Whatever. So I have done that now for almost two weeks. Still no real relief. Wednesday night I started getting very dizzy and nauseous which I have learned is most likely vertigo. Vertigo is no fun, my friends! Called the doctor today to find out about my blood-work cause I don't know how to read those lab results with understanding, you know? I'm not a medical professional! His nurse or receptionist, or whoever she is, tells me everything is normal and she'll tell him about my dizziness. She called me back and said that he was calling in a prescription for the dizziness and that I need to see an allergist.
People. I have an allergist. He gives me a script for my Epi-pen for my tree nut allergy every time I see him. But when I have gone to him in the past couple of years with hives on my eyes, and more, he tells me, "You don't have allergies."
So then what is exactly going on with me? HMMMMMMMM????????????
Now I get to have fun calling my insurance company and ask if there are any other allergists in the area I can see that are in-network.
Isn't growing older so much fun?
But for real. If it weren't for this silliness I'd be great and for the record, everything else on my bloodwork was within normal ranges so, there's that! BOOYAH.
Here's to the fun of reaching 40!
