Back in September I shared my love for soup making in the fall and winter and how I love the seasons of the midwest. (You can read it here.)

Well, this past week has been unlike anything for a long time! We've had snow in November, before Thanksgiving!!

This isn't completely unheard of but it hasn't happened in a long time it seems.

It's cold.

It's pretty.

And school has been cancelled.

My kids have stayed up later, played games, had hot chocolate for which I made homemade whipped cream and are now watching ELF, cause, snow.

Me? I can't deny it. I feel a little like. . .

Happy Snow Day!
