Q&A with Donny and Stacey

Well, the interview with my BFF went over so well the other night that I decided I would try it again with my husband since today is our anniversary and he's sitting in a hospital room and I'm at home.

We have been married for 19 years, TODAY! What a wild ride it has been.

I've blogged about that before so I don't want to do it all over again here but, I can't let the day go by without doing something for it! Especially considering we're not together, it only seems fitting to write about us!

So, here we go. Let the fun begin!

What’s been your favorite memory so far in our 19 years of marriage?

Me: It’s not an easy question but, try. I think mine would have to be watching Better Late than Never in a hotel room and laughing hysterically!

Donny: That one would be up there. But mine would be your ordination ceremony.

Me: I'm gonna cry.

Would you rather stay in or go out for a date night?

Me: You know this answer. Definitely go out.

Donny: And on the second one you know I’m a stay at home person so I would say stay home.

Me: I know...lol

Would you rather play a board game or watch a movie with me?

Donny: Well since you won’t play Monopoly anymore with me that would have to be watch a movie. As long as it’s one you haven’t seen yet so you can’t sit there and say everything they say before they say it lol

Me: lol!!! I’ll play other games! But I do love movies

Would you rather go into the past and meet your ancestors or go into the future and meet your great-great grandchildren?

Donny: I would have to say the past to meet my ancestors.

Me: I agree

Would you rather spend the next year exempt from all taxes or have one month paid vacation?

Donny: One month paid vacation

Me: DEFINITELY a month long vacation. We could drive all over the western states.

Donny: Yes

Would you rather always speak your mind or never speak again?

Me: Um…well I hate conflict but I really like to talk (duh), so….yikes

Donny: I would love to speak my mind but you know it is very difficult for me

Me: LOL!

Would you rather put a stop to war or end world hunger?

Donny: Both

Me: Sure. But what if you could only do one?

Donny: If not both I would say world hunger. I hate seeing the Commercials with the starving kids.

Would you rather lose your keys or your cell phone?

Donny: Keys because I have extra of those and only one phone lol

Me: if I have to lose one I would lose my keys. If I have my phone I can call for help

Would you rather fail or never try?

Me: I have always had a fear of failure but I'd rather try and fail than always wonder if I could have.

Donny: Fail because failing helps build who you become

Would you rather have a cook or a maid?

Me: lol! Maid

Donny: MAID

I can cook but I hate to clean lol

Would you rather hear the good news or the bad news first?

Donny: Bad new first

Me: Yeah...I guess so, too

Would you rather have nosy neighbors or noisy neighbors?

Donny: Nosy because they are entertaining

Me: haha! It's true!

What advice would you give your younger self?

Donny: I guess not to make the decisions I made . And to listen to Jesus more

Me: Mine would be to not doubt myself and trust God’s plan.

Donny: Yeah well I should’ve just listened to God‘s plan. Lol

Me: Well, here we are either way. Thanks for playing along with it!

Me: Me, too. Soon enough though.

I got these llamas for my birthday because Donny would love nothing more than to have an alpaca farm one day.
