I Will NOT Fear

They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. Psalm 112:7

There is a lot of fear in our world tonight. There is a fear of being sick, a fear of the economy tanking, a fear of 401k's plummeting, and the list goes on and on and on.

I don't have much to say other than, let's breathe. Feel the oxygen fill your lungs and then slowly let it out. Remember that none of this has taken God by surprise and even though it looks dark, He's still the light and He's still in control and HE IS STILL GOOD.

I know that it is easy to fall into the world of panic and chaos but I am making a choice and asking you to join me to not give in. We will not give in to the fear. We will not give in to the panic. We will not give in to the chaos. No instead we will be people who are filled with hope, joy, peace and kindness. We will be people who are always on the lookout for ways to love our neighbors. We will be smart and careful but we will not hide in fear. Our foundation is strong and sure and we will remind ourselves that the same God who spoke life into existence is the same God who is holding us today.
