30 Days Down. One To Go.

When I decided in February that I would blog every day in March, I wasn't really sure that I would be able to do it. I didn't know if I would be able to come up with enough things to write about or that I could be creative enough.

But here we are! The second to the last day and haven't missed one.

I thought I'd share a couple of my favorite things that have come from this crazy season of life the entire world is in.

Connections

Okay so this one may seem odd under the circumstances but I mean it! The connections with my family have been great. The boys have pretty much gotten along well, they've played together and watched movies together; our family has played games or sat around the fire pit, we've had movie nights and even though Donny spent 5 nights in the hospital, we all have just rallied.

And even though we've not been able to "be together" my church family is maintaining connection via social media and more. I love that technology has allowed us to chat daily and still worship and hear God speak to us.

Rest

Okay so, overall, from a surface view, I don't see the rest BUT when I sit and think about my days and my schedule, I know that it is happening. I've said it many times over the past few weeks but, it's just like God to use a wild situation to speak deep spiritual truths to us like the need for sabbath. The downtime is really good for us, spiritually speaking.

Shine

The Church is shining brighter than ever! I would venture to guess that at least 15 out of 20 posts on my Facebook feed are people posting videos of them worshiping or preaching or encouraging one another and any who might see or hear. I see The Church seizing an opportunity to make Jesus known.

Unity

I see something that could easily tear us apart and defeat us from within bringing a unification and empathy like never before. While there are those who refuse to accept the reality of things, there are many, many more who are in full understanding and yet they are willing to do the hard work and serve one another.

I am full of faith, hope and confidence that better days are ahead! God's not done and He has a plan for all of this and it will be for our good and to His glory. It's an upside down Kingdom way of thinking and living that goes against everything we instinctively go to. And yet, it is full of holy anticipation. For the Believer, this is all part of the words we've read and studied.

We will see a victory because the battle is the Lord's and He never loses.
