I am a list maker. Packing? Make a list. Vacation? Make a list. Daily tasks? Make a list. Got goals? Make a list. I thoroughly enjoy being able to check something off as complete!

I also hate shopping. I mean, I don't hate it. But I just want to get in, get what I need and get out. So about a year or so ago I created my own template grocery list for where we shop and it is in order from front to back so I can list what we need based on its location in the store.

I love it and here it is!

I fill this out, take inventory of the pantry and fridge and then head to the store and get what I need! I created it in Numbers (Excel for MacBook), made it fun using my Bitmoji cartoon and it has made shopping so much easier. Sometimes I fill it in on my phone, other times I print it off and carry it with me. It helps us stay on budget and we are able to walk through the store more quickly...accept for when my husband tries to go out of order and then we end up back and forth because inevitably we miss something I should have gotten because he jumped ahead and only got what he was thinking instead of staying on the list. It's happened a time or two.

How do you do grocery shopping?

I usually have it in my head, the list, that is. Once in a while I will have that feeling that I have forgotten something. I usually remember as we unpack our goods. Sometimes I make a list when we have many needs to fill.
